She/Her/Hers

Therapist

I am a firm believer that everyone can benefit from engaging in therapy. I feel that everyone deserves that one person and relationship in their life where the total focus is on you and your life and all that it encompasses to make you your unique self. I have spent the last 23 years working with people and feel that is an honor and a privilege to walk alongside individuals and assist in navigating and processing the past and present strengths and challenges. My favorite parts of my job and the therapeutic process include: providing education on the body and brain connection and deepening an understanding of ourselves and why we think, feel, act and cope the way we do; discovering the root of the issues at hand, all while honoring resiliency and survival; providing coping strategies to enhance quality of life; and most of all celebrating the many baby steps and successes that lead to long lasting change. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential setting, where your voice can be heard and to provide the support and tools needed to tackle anything and everything past or present that life has thrown your way.

My clinical foundation and framework are built on trauma informed principles and approaches that guide my therapeutic practice. Promotion of diversity, equity, inclusivity, and social justice are integral and important to me on all levels. I work with a client centered (you “drive the bus” in session and we start where you are), strengths based (focus on your strengths) empowerment (you are in control and your voice matters) and systematic (awareness of all the relationships that impact you) approach.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, family, friends, and our fur baby! I enjoy   traveling, hiking, camping, yoga, interior design, DYI projects, and holistic remedies!
