She/Her/Hers

Therapist

I feel that one of our deepest longings in life is to be heard, seen, and acknowledged. Unfortunately, this need is not always met in our interpersonal relationships. As a result, we may feel left out, worthless, and unwelcome. What I love the most about being a therapist is that I get to know people at a real level. I love being that listening ear to those who have the courage to unpack the painful events or losses in their lives. I know that it is not always easy to be one’s true self or be so transparent about certain aspects of ourselves. My hope is to create a safe therapeutic environment for you to explore those aspects of yourself that need a deeper understanding.

It is rewarding for me to help my clients identify areas in their lives that need growth and develop an understanding of the ways in which their past experience and current framework interact. I believe that only by arriving a new level of self-awareness, transformation happens. I hope that you are committed to seeing change in your life and I am looking forward to working together.

I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2019. I have experience working with individuals who experienced various forms of trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and many other concerns. I value working with clients from various cultural backgrounds and like to consider all aspects of my client’s worldview when choosing therapeutic modalities.
