Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, & EMDR Consultant-in-Training

Life stages and transitions bring with them many joys, challenges and uncertainties. Mental, emotional and spiritual obstacles often leave us stuck or prevent us from fully realizing the joy and peace we desire in life. I have found hope in my journey and am so excited to have the opportunity to provide hope for other individuals in a variety of areas. Your experiences are real and true for you, and through therapy I provide a space where that feels valid. Through practical learnings, education, and research supported methods, I will work alongside you to provide hope and help toward healing.

From a very young age, I have had a burning desire to help others. My journey has led me to be a wife and mother of 4. I have experienced both the beauty and the hardships that come with life cycles, childhood trauma, addiction, marriage, children, adolescents, young adults, the elderly and grieving. By navigating through my own personal experiences in these areas, both through my studies and personal healing, it became abundantly clear that my purpose was to provide the same navigation for others. Returning for my Masters after many life experiences and blessings has armed me with effective tools in my role as a therapist to partner with you as you negotiate your unique journey toward healing.

I have a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counseling along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. This formal education combined with 14 years of experience working with children from varied backgrounds and ages, who suffer from physical, mental and emotional challenges has been instrumental in developing my heart for helping children, adolescents, and young adults see their value and purpose. As a Limited License Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide a safe, confidential, and trustworthy space for you and your loved ones to share your concerns. Here, your courage and determination to traverse these obstacles is met with my purpose to help you achieve your goals.

In my line of work, I have had the pleasure of being able to witness the beauty and reward of hard work, commitment and humility. Are you familiar with feelings of despair, hopelessness, anxiety, confusion and self-doubt, among others? Do your children or adolescents struggle in this way? Are you experiencing a difficult time moving forward? You are not alone!

The work I do in building relationships with my clients by providing them with a safe space and relationship continues to open doors to a more secure, free, and hopeful life. I am so thrilled you have decided to take this next step toward healing and am delighted for the opportunity to be there with you in the process! Congratulations on taking this step toward healing!
