It can be overwhelming reaching out for help when you are already feeling lost, hopeless, anxious, or confused. It can be scary to begin your therapy journey. My role is to make sure that you feel comfortable in being able to open up in ways that have previously felt impossible. On day one, I will join with you, hear your story, find where you want to be and walk this path with you in a thoughtful, intentional, and caring way.
I am currently focused on helping couples navigate crises, transitions, impasses, and grief/loss. Together we will excavate the unseen forces influencing your emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns. Once you become conscious of these influences, you gain more control of your story and how you choose to move forward.
I received my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Los Angeles in March 2023. While in Los Angeles, I completed my year-long practicum, working with clients at Valley Community Counseling Clinic. I look forward to bringing my experience to the West Michigan community and expanding my scope with the option of Telehealth sessions.
I am an LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist and practice through a culturally-sensitive, inclusive, and nonjudgmental lens. All are safe and welcome in my space.
